Our Impact

“Business and environmental sustainability is integral in meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability
of future generations to meet their own needs.”
- WCED & USEPA

Going Green

In the famous words of Kermit the Frog, “It’s not easy being green”. It’s easy to say we want to halt global warming but taking the specific steps towards reducing the human carbon footprint requires significant commitment. To make that kind of commitment requires an accurate assessment of past and present energy use and where to focus future efforts. The common need for all organizations is measurement and reporting. Without actual data,
discussion about “green” activities and efforts to make substantial change is highly suspect.
APT products and services give customers the tools to be more efficient, more reliable and more aware of their costs. Through our unique and customized products we provide:
Delivered energy and power management systems for over 800 peak MWs of power. That huge amount of power is now being monitored and managed for high efficiency.
Energy Conservation totaling over 17,000 MWhrs.
Load shift and demand response totaling over 10 MW.
Significant Reliability Improvements totaling millions of dollars and preventing energy waste.

Alternative Energy

Solar-Photovoltaic
Hydro-Electric
Geothermal Wind Power
Power Monitoring and Measurement is vital to the booming Alternative Energy industry. Reducing dependence on non-renewable resources will be
the focus for years to come. APT is proud to have contributed to the growth and development of these alternative energies by
allowing their true impact to be captured and reported.
